Volleyball Sweeps Centennial on Senior Night

Nolensville Volleyball swept Centennial on Tuesday night at home. It was a fitting result for one of the most decorated Senior classes in Tennessee High School Volleyball history on their Senior night.

The Lady Knights were dominant in the first two sets, winning 25-8 and 25-10. Centennial found a rally late in the third set, with the Lady Knights stuck on 24, before Nolensville put the match away 25-22. Tuesday's win improved Nolensville to 34-4 overall on the season and 7-0 in AAA-District 11 play.

The nine seniors honored before the game with their familes were Michaeli Pietrzak, Caroline Johnston, Ellie Tant, Hannah Berg, Paisley Layton, Peyton Neal, Madeline McNeely, Maggie Rickert, and Katie Hammonds.

This Senior class has already won three District Championships, three Region Championships, won three Sectional matchups, and three straight State Championships while pursuing their fourth of each this season.

Last night's win over Centennial improved Nolensville Volleyball to 156-21 in Varsity action during the Senior class's time in the program.

Thursday's regular season finale is at Franklin, a rematch of a five-set thriller from earlier in the season.

Next Tuesday begins the AAA-11 District Tournament.
